Shin Chin Industrial Co., Ltd. was established by Mr. K. L. Hong in 1953. During the initial stage, SCI was involved in manufacturing switches and knobs for domestic industry, striving to introduce automatic equipment as well as reducing costs to increase their competitive advantage. In 1998, Mr. Mark Hong, son of Mr. K. L. Hong, succeeded his father as the president. He frequently surveys international markets together with his marketing team, gathering information with respect to current trend and customers demands for R&D to design world class products.
